Photographer’s Note
-… I want you to go to bed early, and don’t forget to brush your teeth. Dad will be back home next week and I’ll check if your homework was done properly. You know the rules: if you fail your exams you can forget about that birthday present. I miss you…
-Yes dad. I love you too. Trust me, the house is safe. I have to go now; my studies can’t wait, as you know. Don’t worry, take your time, see you next Friday.
Each day of my life, I am perplex at how 6 billions of persons can live on this planet with so many misunderstandings tearing them apart. Or is it because there are so many misunderstandings that the Earth still keeps spinning around?

Hello Gal,

thank you ... and i hope you don't misunderstand me :)!
misunderstandings are quite a debatable subject, just as truth is, maybe we simply believe what we want to believe ... because it's so much easier that way.
very effective minimalistic composition, love the diagonal placement of the main subjects ... still, this pic tells me that most of the time (in this kind of cases) kids are to be blamed rather then grownups ... and that is something i don't always agree on (even if i am a grownup allright) .. or did i misunderstand everything :)?
well crafted image!

Hi Master G.,
Your notes are becoming better and better. They are so full of mean. You are the Master. But, and most of all the perfect tunning between them and your composisions is trully amazing. Oh, gosh!!! Let me drink from your Wisdom.

Faz parte do nosso crescimento.
Excelente trabalho.

Funny note to complement your shot. However the photography has so much expression and meaning that it makes a note almost obsolet. The diagonal composition works wonders . Interesting tight framing.

Hilarious and heatrtbreaking at the same time (in a funny way). This takes the usual, facile juxtaposition of subject with giant poster (and there are plenty of those) to an altogether different level. Sharp observation, as always...
Best,

ah Gal,
I have laughed madly on this conversation:)...really great photo that fits so much to your notes..
You are a friend who knows Sinan and me for a long time, and this is one of the things I tried to run away from recently probably...not to push im into excessive lies..well he will do some to protect himself and his imagination anyhow :)...and I don't mind that..
I like the composition, especially the kid's size compared to dad ..his life is bigger compared to his dad's too :)
all the best..and take care my friend..

Hello there Gal. This one is a very unusual, creative and amusing composition. I like the fact that you didn't include all the face at the top, just the part that was needed to make the point. Also, the way you placed the two people in diagonally opposite corners. Very good, and excellent note, also.
Regards,
Andrew

Coucou Gal,

Hello, Gal--
Nice work here, the contrast between the bold tongue and the serious looking man is great, and you hint at this will in your note. Well seen, and great execution, the simplicity works well.
thanks!

Bonjour Gal,
Vos images sont toujours belles et intelligentes [no real meat he? (Oops! Luko would say that I "get stuff on my tongue" now, but it's really an honest praise and not a ly :o)))

Haha fantastic Gal. A great contrast between the cheeky kid and the more professional looking person on the mobile.

I didn't have time to comment on this when you uploaded it, and now too much has been said for me to add anything new... reminds me of Jean Vigo's early films, fantastic humour, perfect diagonal, metaphorically and visually.
Simply superb, Gal!

'evening, Gal!
he-he-he, I like this kid doing what kids
do best, behind our backs! (well, majority
of them, I suppose). Goes well with your
second paragraph (answer to her/his dad's
blackmailing them).
Like Sasa, I saw this one when it was 'first
released', but commenting on it only now...
