Never mind mistakes Angelina, as you say, atmosphere is everything. The only thing I'd pick you up on here is the slight tilt to the left; a slight rotation to correct the lean of the building and have the black line cutting vertically through the frame would improve things.
Everything else, I like; the massive flare, the blur, that pitch blackness taking up 1/3 of the frame, but most of all the light. Without that golden light, this wouldn't have worked.
An unusual image, and all the better for that.
Cheers,
Ben
Hello Angelina
I, too, reckon it would be better to have the line vertical.
That said, the shot does have a great feel - the flare of the sunlight is great, the depth of field makes for an interesting shot. Maybe a note with some more info next time?
Nice work.
Cheers
Adam
Yup a little more tilt would be great. With shots like this I tend to use the guides within photo shot to make the photos straight. It is something to keep in mind when lines are a dominant factor in your shot. As for the rest, it is great. Never mind what is in focus or out of focus, this truly does have a great atmosphere. I did a workshop to straighten out the sign.
