Ruins of Teotihuacán

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
In 1998, I made a 3.5 month round trip through Mexico and Guatemala. Starting in Cancun, I went counter-clockwise Cancun - Merida - Campeche - Veracruz - Mexico City, up to the area around Hidalgo del Parral and then down the West-coast towards Guatemala. A beautiful trip, resulting in some nice pictures.
Fair to say that it won't be the best picture posted on Teotihuacán. It was a hot smoggy day and it's a scanned slide.

Picture made w analog SLR, slides scanned w Minolta Dimage Elite II slide scanner and adjusted in Photoshop based on the slide projection.

Hello Dennis. Your picture of ruin of Teotihuacán gives a good overview to the temple plant. Really very informatively, - likewise the text. For a scanned image the quality is correct. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Hi Dennis,
Your point of view is excellent and it must have been a great experience to see this.
-Although the quality, in comparison to todays standards isn't the best, I actually like it this way. It's like seeing your parents old photos from their tour around Europe in 1974 or something like that :)
Thanks,
Christian
Wow, This is really great picture.
Hope one day I have a chance to visit once.
Dennis,
you're right that the digital quality isn't the best. The scan of this old image really did its toll, but I still can enjoy the view and the good composition giving an idea of what Cortez and his thugs got to see once they arrived in Teotihuacan.

Hi Dennis,
there are far too many soldiers on your first photo page now;-) so decided to open some older post of yours...well, gaining power to watch your kingdom from such perspective that must be a deepest dream of anybody;-)...I guess you are showing us a real core of this place...cheers, arturo
