Photographer’s Note
Of all the churches I've seen thus far, there's one, located here in West Hartford, that clearly stands out. It is the church of the Saint Peter Claver parish. It doesn't stand out by its majestic architecture, the way most churches, irrespective of denomination, do. It actually stands out by being different, by breaking the pattern, as I see it. In particular, this church stands out by the simplicity of its architecture.
I don't know anything about the architect who designed it but here are a few words about this church I found on the parish's web site:
"The church of St. Peter Claver, while blending with its rustic surroundings, was designed with a view to the future - to the time when, more and more, the church will be used not only as a place to renew oneself spiritually, but also as a place of communion with the entire community.
The exterior of the church is a contemporary structure with massive walls constructed of 360 tons of fieldstone taken from the boundary walls of an old farm in Hebron, Connecticut. The stone work rises three-quarters of the distance to the roof; the remaining wall height is formed by natural unpainted wood. The deeply-sloping, graceful roof is of wooden shingles."

Hi Iulian
It's nice your idea of posting a church for me :) Thank you very much! First I must say that I would prefere it to be an orthodox one.
But it seems you had no choice, and photo is very kind because of the soft light mainly.
This one looks like a church from beggining of Christianity, not spectacular external architecture, and as I read interior is a simple one too. I like also very much our simple Romanian orthodox churches that by exterior look like simple wooden houses.
Regarding your score: maybe not by happening a church broke strange number of it ;) don't you think?
TFS and all best
Mihaela

Hi Iulian,
It is indeed a beautiful and unusual piece of architecture and you captured it very nicely under that gorgeous Winter sunlite.
Regards, José.

interesanta arhitectura, dar dupa cum zice si nota "designed for the future" ... compozitie prietenoasa in culori calme, cu o constructie aproape pe diagonala - placuta ochiului.
sa mai faci poze si dupa ce o sa infrunzeasca/infloreasca copacii :)!
multumesc si sa ai un Paste foarte fericit!
