Hello Yasmeen,
What gorgeous colors you've captured in the photo, which also features simple but elegant composition. Normally it is a good idea to put the subject off to one side (the rule of thirds), but then it can become contrived. Simply putting an overwhelmingly striking subject near the center seems more natural. Thake a look at a recent photo that I submitted, The Cardinal and the Birch.
(I am a scientist and artist, and the author of a book on Leonardo; accordingly, perspective, composition, patterns, and colors are very important for me. But from photos in your gallery, I see that you have a very good painterly eye. Keep it up,
Warm regards from Virginia,
Bulent
I really like these birds.
The problem with many animal photos is the creatures don't like looking into the lens
Nevertheless, I posted a workshop image.
What beautiful colors! I posted a workshop to see if I could accentuate these colors a little more. The file size is a bit small, the limit is 200k, so you may as well use as much of the allotted size as possible. Nice capture. TFS!
**Ooops, looks like someone beat me to the workshop! Oh well, you have two. :-)
