What's harder than getting a river otter to stay in the frame long enough to click the shutter? Getting TWO of them to hold still long enough to click the shutter! These fiesty otters were spotted at the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro, NC.

River otters are endangered in the US, but rescue groups are working hard to restore their natural habitat and return more of them to the wild.

Hi Lorna,

I have a bunch of failed otter pictures from the Denver aquarium .. I know of what you speak. Great capture in a fast moment .. actually I have big brown retriever named Otter : )
