| Some of the many rock formations found in this park. One of the best ways to travel this park is to either hike, bike or you can take a trip out the ths furthest point on a Humvee. The later will get you fantastic shots far out in the desert. For anyone wanting to go there it is an awsome site....You can see the size of this formation when you see the people on the trail ahead. Hi Jim,
This is a fantastic shot and wow, the size of those unusual formations is unbelievable! My wife and I are visiting this park in about a month so thanks for the insights - am afraid our time will not permit much more than a drive through and maybe a couple of short hikes. Any other suggestions? Great image and thanks for sharing. Gerald
nice composition very amazing feature but there appears to be a color cast and the focus is a bit soft for me. see my workshop. it must have been amazing to be there and be able to take this shot.
Ah Arches, one of my favorite parks. Didn't get an opportunity to see this formation, but it is interesting indeed. You captured it from a great POV and the people give a great sense of scale. There appers to be some odd behaviour where the sky meets the rocks though, and maybe the image is just a tad too saturated, but overall it's a great capture.
Hello Jim,
This is a great capture! I love your p.o.v. which assists in realising the scale of this incredible formation. I too noticed a strangeness where the rocks meet the sky though not sure what caused it. Still, a breathtaking shot! Have a lovely week-end!
Kind regards,
Bev :-)
