Doug,
This is a nice capture. The sharpness and DOF are outstanding. The colors and lighting are great as well. The trees add great perspective to the size of the mountains. The red roof and canoes create nice contrast.
TFS,
Asa

Wonderful composition in this one Doug! The building on one side and the canoes on the other side, together framing the view down the lake and the mountain beyond. The fact that both building and canoes are red works ver well too, because of the similarity to each other and the contrast with the blue/green of the landscape. Nice soft light too. Excellent work!

Great compsotion, where you really played with colours. the red of the boats, the red of the roof and the overall blue all around. A great mix and such a peacefulness emanating from this shot. Great work!

Hi Doug,

A good POV of Maligne lake, of the Rocky mountains and of the red canoe in the foreground, the photo has a good composition, DOF and nice colors. Have a nice day.

Hi Doug!
I checked out your photos and I think your nature pictures are beautiful.
This is a wonderful capture with very good POV. I like the canoes on the photo, the red color of the roof and the canoes and those beautiful mountains in the background as well.
Thanks for sharing!

Hi Doug:

This is a great composition and a fantastic shot of Maligne Lake. Your photos always make me want to drive the extra few hours to Jasper every time I'm in Calgary! The mountain does seem a bit blurred to me, but that could be the result of the smaller TE size. Beautiful subject all around. Thanks for sharing.
