[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I have shot and reshot the murals above the bar at Rex Hotel in Toronto -- because from different angles and in different light I see different things. This day I watched as a bar of sunlight moved across the ceiling and waited until it had illuminated just the right part so that I could capture this summery image. I will not explain what it is that you are seeing in my notes, but if you are unsure, I shall happily give you the clue in my replies to your critiques.
Cropped slightly, resized and framed
Thank you everyone for your visits and critiques
I shall pop around to your galleries over the coming week (my excuse to take breaks from packing)

bonjour,

Très belle image que ces illuminations, belle gestion de la couleur et excellent cadrage.

Bravo et excellente soirée

Shana

Hi Silke,
I think on the right there is a scene from a jungle but the left is only telling me ideas not to be combined like a hat, a naked stomach, a curtain, some hair at the top. No idea. Therefore help please, a hint would be nice - anything with Rex or a part of music instrument? The light situation is nice.

Hi Silke,
Looks like you have two fine photos combined into one with the variance of light give each window a different look. The bird, jungle and zebra give the other window in low light a more elaborate appearance.
Regards, Tom

Hi Silke.
It looks really very nice with this light and very nice colors.
Very very good done photo with nice details.

Hi, Silke,
I cheated and looked at the other photo. It's hilarious. No wonder you have shot this again and again. It's incredible. I like the way you have caught the light on this one. The colors and details are beautiful. I like the bit of ceiling that adds depth to an already lovely photo. Great shot!! Best regards,
Shelly

Hello Silke,
Good interior exposure, in spite you have some mixed light!
I like the framing, colours and details are well taken care of...
Quite an unusual interior for a bar, maybe...
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hi Silke,
I somehow like this shot for all the
reasons you describe at the beginning
of your note... light, etc.
Also liked being surprised and entertained
by seeing the other shot revealing more of
the 'twins'.
But I have to say your patience paid off
as this shot is MUCH more interesting than
the other one (of the mural).
Personally, I agree with the owner... ;-D
Robi

Hi Silke,

Indeed I see lots of everything in this shot... So I understand that with the numerous shot done before choosing this one... you saw a lot of different things.

Jean-Pierre

Hello Silke!
I like stained glass windows, whether it be in churches or elsewhere!
This shot of yours is sunny, bright and gay! Proof: A bird is singing with happiness!
Share with you again some other time!
Marie Louise.

Hello silke,

Nice wall details with beautiful lighting effect.
Well done!

Bernard
