A picture of tulip from my school. All of my friends who saw this picture often keep asking me if I changed the BG to B/W. This is original in terms of colors. The grasses are dead and grey... and it is served as a great BG which gets my attention to take this picture.

A nice montage !
Greetings,
Nivaldo.

Hi Sothy,
Nice focus and contrasts, the full of life tulip against the dead grey background. Well done!

Hallo Sothy!
Great, really great! This is an not everyday eyecatcher. The contrast between the tulip and it's surroundings couldn't be more impressive. Very well seen!
Greetings from Germany!

Hello Sothy,
Good contrast created by the vivid red/green tulip against the dead grass. The blurred BG gives more impact to the main subject and there is a nice light too.
Have a nice day

Hi Sothy,

Nice composition with beautifull colors

David,

Yes, Sothy, the background is a bit confusing, with the sharp and unsharp areas. However, it does provide a dramatic backdrop for your tulip. The effect is striking. For me, however, you red tulip is placed too near dead center of the frame, which tends to be the weakest and least interesting placement. A different crop, placing the flower more off center would imporve it, I feel Regards kevin

this one unbelievable sothy... pure poetry... well seen and composed... congrats...

korkut:)

Hi Sothy,
really great picture ! A piece of life in a dead world. The dead world looks frozen, and the flower looks like a warm heart. Very poetic.
Marc

Great PP work Sothy. The tulip stands out so well. I think I would have not centred the flower so much but that is just my choice. It looks great.
Cheers,
Debbie

Hi Sothy!
Good idea to take it because this background is really something, seems almost unatural. Great composition with fantastic colours!

Hello Sothy,

Your portrait of the tulip is quite extraordinary. I had the same question as yur friends regarding the background, and I am happy to have my question answered. I am glad that you centered the brilliant tulip.

Bulent
