Hm... I like Alphaville. I listen to them every once in a while and really enjoy their songs. Well... at least their most famous hits and this is one of them. I guess I never really paid attention to the lyrics, but now, after reading them here, I could say I'm glad I'm getting old. I must be crazy to wish I'd stay forever young...
Nice shots, though... I tried recently something similar and I wasn't very happy with the results. Mine came out more like this.

Thats superb and so lovely, the lights and shades play so well and the action is well caught as the man croons to the crowd. A lovely pov and good position to be in to compsoe this one. I like the mood here and the whole ambience which ahs been caught well. Lovely work

Cred ca e destul de reusit experimentul :) - imi place cum ai surprins atmosfera si imi place mult si formatul imaginii. Daca ar fi sa ma leg de ceva cred ca ar fi efectul de 'smoke' de pe scena - mai ales in partea inferioara a imaginii (in lumina portocalie) - mi-ar fi placut sa fie mai evidenta 'consistenta' (nu stiu cum sa explic dar cred ca intelegi ce vreau sa spun :). Nu stiu cat depindea asta de tine (sau de camera ta); oricum, pentru conditiile in care ai fotografiat, ai obtinut o calitate buna a imaginii. Eu n-as fi reusit nici jumatate din ce ai tu aici :)))
Deci felicitari si 'keep on experimenting...'. Imaginile sunt bune :)

A good gig shot. I like the lights criss crossing clouds of smoke. Square format fits well. And the singer is clearly singing something slow and emotional.

Yes I remember Alphaville and I like this song. I was wondering whatever happened to them as a group. This is a wonderful capture of a stage performance. The singer is beautifully placed in your frame and the stage atmosphere and lighting look great. Bes wishes, Danilo
