scavenger hunt Photo

Photographer’s Note

This photo was taken on the beach at Weston-super-mare in August 2006.

While I was photographing the pier, my wife told me to look overhead. It seems that the childrens' digging in the sand was attracting these scavengers.

The workshop version sets the scene for this one and shows the kids next to us also digging in the sand.

The birds were incredibly fast and everytime I spun round to photograph them, they swooped away.

A very lovely detailed picture, the wing and the eyes are very nice, this is very important.

This is wonderful Andrew. Great capture of this bird with its wings spread in flight. And his eyes are so intense. Tech details especially sharpness are quite good. Best regards, Danilo

very well captured and nicely framed shot with perfect timing. The sharpness is very good and the details are well visible. The bg. provided by the sky is fantastic and contrasts perfectly with the bird.
