Photographer’s Note
I took this photo at the entrance of Imperial Palace East Gardens (Kokyo Higashi Gyoen) in Japan. The garden is in Tokyo and just a short walk from Otemachi subway station.
I do not know the name of the trees in this photo but just found that the colour was interesting.

A nice photograph of some very pretty trees! I have been to Japan in the winter, and was really impressed at the beauty of the trees during that time of year, especially some that took on golden tints...quite wonderful. Very nice. I might have tried to take some more shots of that beautiful red tree.

Hi Gary...I like the weeping willow you have on the left. These trees always appear like waterfalls to me; the branches and leaves appear to just cascade down so smoothly in this picture. Wonderfully taken.
