Photographer’s Note

This was taken on the southern parts of the Isle of Skye.
The place is called Elgol and I was there under dramatic skies like it was often the case during my trip.
This little beach (if you can call it that) is mostly big rocks and when the tide is low and the light right it is a great place to play around with a camera.

Wow, wow, wow. Words are not enough. This picture jumped at me when I clicked on "gallery".
Amazing colurs and details. The light and sky and scenery in this one is gorgeous. Excellent timing and technique. Excellent angle. This is a piece of art.
Did you use some kind of filter? What post pro work have you done? Just curious to know...

Very dramatic skies with colored foreground interest. That ray of light seems awesome. Excellent sharpness, exposure and composition. Very well done. Have you used ND Grad filter?

Amazing shot, the red and gold colors of the alagae and the sunlight look great amidst the blue and grayish tones of the sky and the rocks. The little pool of water, the sunlight, the sky.. it has many details that make it great.

elle est incroyable cette image.. On se croirait dans un paysage du seigneur des anneaux ! J'aime beaucoup le POV que tu as choisi ainsi que ces rayons de soleil qui s'abattent sur l'eau. C'est magique, étrange et beau ! Ca semble presque irréel...

This photo is absolutely superb, the composition is first class as is the level of detail and colour contrasts. The sun shining through on the horizon is just a marvelous extra touch.

Another superb image!

The upper part of the image is very foreboding with excellent detail and contrast in the sky. The rays of light coming down are a phenominal- you really could not ask for more.
Unbelieveable detail in the forground. This image reminds me of Adam Burton's work (a compliment).
