witaj Macku

jak zwykle wysoki poziom. podoba mi sie konwersja do b&w choc pewnie wiekszosc bedzie ubolewac nad brakiem kolorow :) i swietne niebo. jest tylko cos co mniej lub bardziej swiadomie stalo sie pewnego rodzaju maniera a mianowicie lodka. u Ciebie, Adama Burtona i jeszcze kogos to czesty motyw i sie zastanawiam czy fascynacji lodziami czy tez koniecznosci mocnego elementu na pierwszym planie... ja akurat preferuje sama nature ale to juz sa kwestie gustu

Magnificent Maciek - what a stunning landscape, and in B&W too. Multiple reflections fill the image, trees, clouds, the boat. The subtle rippling of the water. And a square format - not everyones favorite choice, but here it works very well. Beautiful, Roberto

Great black and white choice. The boat is really well on the left side. The perspective is gorgeous as well as the reflexion and the light.

Black & white images aren't generally my thing, but there is only one word to describe this - Stunning.
The whole composition with the boat, the reflections and that sky! It really works very well and doesn't need colour to provide a lift.
Superb work.
P.S. Assuming the original was a colour image, any chance you could post as a Workshop for comparison purposes?

Nice image, good clouds in the sky making a good contrast and a sort of diagonal opposite to the foreground boat.

Excellent photo! The squere crop works very well. Choosing B&W really makes the picture; much better than your color version.

I opened this image and my reaction was simply - Oh my god! I don't think I've seen a B&W image with as much impact outside those of a Mr A Adams! The tonal range and gradation is just incredible. Please, Maciek, some notes!!! Some insight on how you exposed for and captured this incredible image.

Another superb landscape and especially good in B+W. There is a slight tilt to the right I feel.

Where have I seen this one before? ;)

It works even better then the colour version...mainly because of the new crop. The boat get's more importance (becomes bigger), and the cropped portion wasn't fundamental in the composition. The clouded sky, with transitions between iluminated and shaded ground mede this one a worthy photo for b&w.

Niesamowita jest ta norweska galeria, zdjecia kolorowe sa przepiekne, ale to szczegolnie przykulo moja uwage bogactwem odcieni czarno-bialych i taka... klarownoscia jakas; podobaja mi sie te trzy plany, takie rozne: lodz i jej odbicie, gory w oddali i roznorodnosci ksztaltow chmur na niebie. Piekna atmosfera.
