Photographer’s Note
Luxembourg has a lot to offer the visitor. And one special place is the winegrowing valley of the Mosel river. This photo was taken on a hill above the village of Schengen, where the agreement to liberate free movement of people and goods within the European Community was signed many years ago. Probably one of the most important steps in what is now the European Union. The village of Schengen also lies exactly in the triangle formed by Germany, France and Luxembourg, where it is possible to visit three countries in less than ten minutes.
Technically I did the usual enhancing before and after resizing.

Hello Per! Seeing this shot of Luxembourg reminds me of a colleage who seems to think I should work there with him... I love vinyards, and though reducing the size of this shot has done the same for you as it did for me, the graphic portrayal is stunning, especially with the contrast. I'm off to EU in two weeks. Missing taking pictures though. Life is hectic these days...
