Photographer’s Note

The famous Buda Castle at night.
*Some of you have mentioned the too much sky, but I like with it because of the contrast.

I would be pleased if you told me your opinions about the picture!

The Buda Castle (Hungarian: Budai Vár) is the historical castle of the Hungarian kings in Budapest, Hungary. In the past it was also called Royal Palace (Hungarian: Királyi-palota) and Royal Castle (Hungarian: Királyi Vár) .
The Buda Castle was built on the southern tip of Castle Hill, next to the old Castle District, (Hun: Várnegyed), which is famous about its medieval, Baroque and 19th century houses and public buildings. The Buda Castle is part of the Budapest World Heritage Site, declared in 1987.

Beautiful shot. I would have cropped out a bit of the sky since there's more than enough of it in the picture.

Hi Marci, very good composition - excellent lighting with perfect reflections. A few centimetres off the top of the shot might make the castle look more imposing but a superb shot - one to be very proud of. Paul

Hello Marton,
This is a beautiful nightphoto of well illuminated Buda castle. The photo is very well exposed and the sky is very dark even though you are in the middle of Budapest. Well composed and with good reflections.

Hey Marton,
I haven't been in your gallery lately and now when I am, I'm saying to myself:"How could u miss all of these". Your last postings are just WOW, i 'm looking and trying to get my best words to describe this beauty on my monitor. I have a similar camera, LZ2 (one model before LZ3), I'm not sure I can get a photo like this with it, maybe because I don't have a tripod. Great job really, I can see u've been trying, your gallery is full of beautiful photos, keep up the good work in future too.

Hi Marci,
This one is another excellent night capture, with a great aesthetic result by the lighting of the castle and its reflections on the Danube.
The golden tones give a great richness and a special luminosity to this beautiful urban landscape.
