Photographer’s Note

just a beautiful morning on the way to jackson hole. the fog was swirling, lifting and then drifting in again to cover the tetons. this window of sunlight lasted maybe 5 minutes and then we were encased in fog again.

Hi Lyn, you got the right moment to this shot. No doubt about that. Having a polarization filter also was the right choice. I like a lot the trees in the far foreground and you did very well in placing them off the center. They look so small compared to the massive mountains in the background. What a view! WOW!
I just have the impression that the shot looks a little bit underexposed, otherwise top notch!

Beautiful, beautiful shot here of the Tetons. I especially like the way the mountains go from the fog, to a darker appearance in the middle to the lighter top with more sun. Really quite stunning.
