Photographer’s Note

I love how your long exposure has smoothed out the water! The photo has a real painterly feeling to it and is just beautiful. Good job! I would also love to see a variation with a more panoramic crop where you lose a bit of the sky.

Andre,
Outstanding photo! The long exposure yielded a crisp, sharp, well lit photo. The long exposure also created a feel of power and motion with the water. This is truly a beautiful photo!

Asa

Hello Andre,
Very nice night scene with the emphasis rightly on the brick building. Nice overall lighting & soft colors giving much atmosphere to the whole scene. Regards. Latiff.

Hello Andre. This is an extraordinary shot, superbly exposed and no noise that I can see. The way the main building is lit up against that very subtle blue-ish colour is marvellous, and the detail is outstanding. Really, this is a truly amazing night shot. Well done.
Regards,
Andrew

G'day Andre!
This is just a magical shot, and deserves so much more recognition: as others have commented, it has an almost painted look to it. Excellent work!

Jeff

hi, Andre,
i don't know how much time you stay outside for this one. i really feel the "cold" when i saw it. good lighting control, did you use tripod? i like you use ISO 100 too, show more detail of it. good job!

Compliments.
Daniel.

Hello again Andre
This is one of my favorite photos!
the yellow light adds such a warmness to the scene!
great sharpness and clarity.
I would have cropped off the right hand side, taking out the small concrete wall.
otherwise, this is a tremendous and warming scene in such cold weather!
Nicely done
Craig
