Photographer’s Note

The monk who have his panting in hand (in fact he's painting the temple) has a beautiful crown on his head : the light in the tree. You can clearly see here how much architectural ornaments of Laos are floral. A painting in a painting ? I would like.
WS : little crop bottom and sepia calc.

I like it! I was staring at your photo for some minutes to understand why exactly I like this photo...and then I realised that the softeness of the photo along with the position of the monks's bodies reminds me paintings of the resnaissance period (I know that this has no meaning since this period has nothing to do with Asia but those are the emotions I get from your photo.

Très bien tout cela. Je remarque que vos photos on très peu de "vrai" noir et souvent une zone brûlée, mais cela me convainc complètement. La finesse des tons est saisissante. Bravo !

Je suis encore une fois tombé sous le charme que dis-je, sous l'emprise de ta photo. J'aime tout dans cette photo, la composition, la lumière , la position des corps leurs fluidités, la profondeur donnée (perspective)
Peut-être que le moine qui tient le cadre aurait pu être complètement dans la photo pour arrondir les angles (avec son épaule). en tous cas BRAVO

encore une photo de maitre pascal:: -) content d'être rentré d'italie pour voir ces superbes photos... elle est touchante aussi par ce sentiment de repos et de serenite qu'elle exprime IMO. cette couronne lui sied parfaitement;-))

Tres beau cette composition assez complexe, Pascal, et cette complexite fait qu'on s'y arrete, qu'on prend son temps, finissant par decouvrir un tas de choses. Ou exactement est la tete du gars couche vers la droite...? Et puis la couronne "naturelle" du peintre est repliquee dans le filigris du portail. Superbe et tres bien controle.
