I took this because I thought it was just a spectacular sight which includes the biggest fish I think in any fish displays around Japan.

The tank itself is enormous and the people are so tiny, the glass in 600mm thick and going up close to it is amazing too, because the fish are so clear still.

I know this pic is a bit blurry but I think it is nice to see that the fish are moving and they still alive.

I hope you like it.

I would like to thank Wakako and Seb, my friends in Okinawa who drove us to this spectacular spot.

I hope you like it.

Yes, this is a very spectacular shot, and the silhouetted people around the glass give a good idea of scale.

This is the big fish I was waiting for! Great photo, and the blurriness doesn't bother me. Very interesting subject!

Wow what an incredible aquarium and picture! And what beautiful species in it! I have to visit this place some day, thanks for capturing it!

this is good Daniel. silhuettes of people in front of a huge aquarium are great. pitty it lacks sharpness.
i think a perpendicular angle (with respect to the aquarium) might have worked better.

Wau interesting photo. In my home country we have two large aquariums with sharks. One in Grenaa and one in Silkeborg.Very nice photo you got there.

Lovely Daniel, this is a very spectacular shot, and the silhouetted people around the glass give a good idea of scale. Good job

This is cool, Dan. You definitely captured the "aquarium feel" here. The silhouettes of the spellbound crowd in front of the giant fishtank with a lot of activity going on inside. Really nicely done.

A en voir la faible luminosité cette image devait etre techniquement assez difficile a faire car le flou pouvais etre bien plus present.
Le resultat est superbe car le bleu dominant nous plonge bien dans cet univers marin.
Bravo Daniel

Fantastic capture, Daniel! Your angle of taking reveals all the scenery from distance, so the silhouettes of people contrast so nicely to the blue aquarium and the big fish there. Excellent job!
Many thanks to your friends too! ;-)

The size of that fish (whale shark?) it is magnificient. The people in the foreground add to the effect.
And Sorry since I have no access to critiques, I can only give you symbolic points:

This is very impressive. I love the blue of the water and the silhouette of all the people. And what is in there is really impressive. Is that a whale-shark on top? It's almost like they're standing in front of a giant movie screen. Very nicely done. Very cool.

Amazing aquarium you show here,With many kinds of sea animals in kinds of size in front of humans scales,You succeed very well for compare of this scales here,it's wonderful.
And,Your angle of view skilfully choosed, well done,& the colors & great contrast here very nice managed & captured. You creat this shot with great composition, too.
Thanks for sharing,Dear Daniel!
And thanks your great friends!

A very good decision to spot on this aquarium Daniel. Water life is always beautiful. The dimensions seem really amazing, you really made it well in choosing the POV and including people. 600mm glass, that's impressive. Very nice catch.

I have to totally agree with kourosh...

you could have tried many shots for the same subjet in different angles! Shutter speed could be faster in order to freeze the fishes and to have absolut black silhouetts!
Nice subject you have there... next time try to be more creative and abstractive!

Wow, this is quite an aquarium, lots of fish in it. The dark silhouettes of the people standing in front, are very nice, and the distance you could keep, is great. extraordinary picture.

The aquarium is amazing; it's large and there are so many different types of fish! I like the silhouettes of the visitors against the blue aquarium. Great shot!

The silhouettes make this shot for me, it's great to step back and look at the big picture. Your series from this aquarium trip have a good mix of different types of shots-- very versatile and complete documentation. Well done!

Wow - Seams to the biggest kind of fish after all - you did a very fine job here Dan - giving us the both the fish and people - thanks for sharing this view.

wow.....a whaleshark...and the tank is enormous!
impressive :)

NOT ONLY I LIKE IT BUT HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING QUITE LIKE THAT BEFORE DANIEL.
Bravo:-) and thanks for sharing this... I am amazed by the number of ray fish..

Wow..what a great image Kenny! I´t is striking to see the silhouettes from the people giving a great scale and increasing the wondering sensation on watching those wonderful animals. Very well seen!

I've been in the Lisbon Oceanarium (the biggest in Europe) and none of my photos came like this... :-(

Good exposure control and a very good POV.

Spectacular photograph. Really huge aquarium. Beautiful light and splendic blue colors. Siluettes here are really good too.

I like your photo a lot. There were some things that bothered me, like the angle, the black stripe on top, so I said let's try to improve that. I had to move the whale, because after rotate and crop I couldn't see it anymore.
I hope you like it like that as well.
