Photographer’s Note
I love the underground of Umeda - the main station in Osaka. Underground is a whole new world that is filled with people coming and going. In the morning and afternoon rush hour, the place is a sea of bodies - all moving in random directions, but never seeming to collide! It's a fantastic experience just walking from one side to the other!!
In this photo, I tried to capture a little of the frenetic pace. I love the 'one-legged' result of the time exposure!
