| This photo was taken inside St. Andrews Anglican Church at Fort Selkirk; located on the Yukon River just below the mouth of the Pelly River, about halfway between Whitehorse and Dawson City. Although archaeological evidence shows that the site has been in use for at least 8,000 years, Robert Campbell established a Hudson Bay Company trading post on the traditional site in 1848.(info from a few web sites) |
