Photographer’s Note
I was in a toy store when I saw this kid, very concentrated on his painting.. I liked this view, not just becouse the composition but also becouse this kid was surrounded by toys but he prefer to paint.. This is not common in nowadays.

This a very intimate shot beautifully composed. The softness of focus in the foreground and the desaturated colors allow us to focus on the child's concentration on the black marking pen. This is very sweet and nicely done. Thanks for sharing it.

J'aime beaucoup cette composition que vient éclairer la note. Le cadrage est excellent et le choix du n&b est bien venu. On entend presque le crissement du feutre sur le papier. bravo.

nice and intimate here, well spotted story and well delivered picture. I like the fact that the focus point is on the pencil he's using, drawing our attention to this anomaly. Well done!

beautiful shot..focus difference between the arm, face and painting, this makes a natural frame underlining a very small picture...I am not sure about the color tone..kids and sepia is a hesitation for me (I have a 4 yr old son and I shoot and play with his pictures all the time :)..overall a nice picture..
and, wellcome to TE..

Excellent work, I like the angle behind the child, without disturbing him... and the sepia tones perfectly suit here. Great shot.
