Photographer’s Note

Vigiljoch is the mountain overlooking the city of Merano, where I live.
It is 1906 meters high and can be reached either by foot taking a walk through the woods starting from the village of Lana or with a cable car. A wide plateau offers the opportunity for wonderful walks in the middle of nature and a breathtaking view on the valley surrounding the mountain.
Pictured here is the view you have from Naturnser Alm, a farm located about two hours walking from the Vigiljoch. Here you can have a very beautiful view on the underlaying Venosta valley, the most famous valley for the production of apples in Italy.

Good composition with this little lake as foreground for this alpne summer panorama.Good contrast between the bright foreground colors , the "blue" mountans and the soft blue sky with nice clouds.

Hi, Samuele. The small pond is a very good foreground and captures nice reflections. The view towards the mountains on the opposite side shows us a beautiful alpine landscape under an interesting sky.

Encore une vue très agréable depuis les hauteurs. J'aime cette très jolie réalisation aux couleurs chaudes. J'ai beaucoup aimé également le reflet des nuages sur cette petite pièce d'eau.

Hi Samuele, a nice POV there, a pleasing view, perhaps the picture is lacking from contrasts ... perhaps also are you not using a uv filter that would have helped a lot in that case.
Anyway i really enjoy the view ! Beautiful :)

Well composed with superb clarity of detail. I like the two distinct sections to the scene, both in good focus. The mountainous terrain is well appreciated and there is fine depth. Though it is summer, this alpine area shot is crisp and clear. Well captured.

A very colorful mountain landscape with a stunning view. The composition uses the pond in a clever way to lead the eye to the background. My only concern is this uggly cable which I would have got rid using ly favorite photoshop tool.
