Photographer’s Note
London, near Heathrow airport.
Following a heavy rain the sky began to clear. I've notice that the sun was about to pop from behind the clouds and did a quicky run to get my camera from the draw in my room. As I came outside the house point, shoot and "voila". Right on time to catch the sun poping behind the cloud. It's a simple photo but the sunrays make a divine effect.

Hello David,
Your photo is very nice due to the sunray and the location of the airplane just at the right point.
I propose in workshop a new frame in order to remove the roof of the bottom right. I do not say it will be better but it is a way to make the photo more dreamlike.
Yves.

Hi David,
very nice and funny picture. One lucky shot. I think I would have cropped away the roofs. TFS

Dramatic moment, David
Great dramatic rays of the sun through the clouds. This scene is so special with the airplane against the brightest ray.
Only a personal comment, I feel the roof at the bottom right distract your wonderful shot.
Imagine without it might be perfect.

yes, yes,...the roof =)...although the roof does make the picture look more 'real' and spontaneous. an amazing shot nontheless!

Hi David,
Lovely composition.
Wonderful blue sky, white clouds and sun beams.
I like much the silhouette of the fly.
Perhaps, to crop the roofs could be better.

Corinne

Great image David, you did very well to see this as I doubt a lot of people would have. The piercing rays look quite brilliant against the plane, and even those clouds look great in the image as well.
I would have liked to have seen the house cropped out at the bottom however..

Perfect title David, it made me laugh. I really like the rays of light shooting every which way, and the timing of the airplane is perfect as well. I was thinking if the rooftops should have been cropped out or not, but I've decided I like them. Well done.

Ryan

Très belle réalisation. Une capture vraiment à l'instant propice, très bien vu! Les toits de la maison en bas ne sont peut-être pas utiles.

David,
absolutely wonderful title that goes along with this stunning shot. The WS with cropping the houses seems to logical and for that reason I ended up prefering it with the roofs in the right lower corner. Great decisive moment that you got here, something comparable with the Sistine Chapel - the famous detail of Michelangelo's fresco. God creating Adam by touching his finger.
