[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Love and war seem to be still the bricks with which are built the foundations of our societies.

And it seems that they still will for centuries to come.

That is what is represented by this couple of lovers kissing each other below such a threatening war device.

Two very different aspects of human nature.

Taken at the MontJuic at Barcelona.

Cesar
Ps.: Finally a post after too much time, and with a borrowed camera!

Nice capture though it is a tad noisy. You might want to try some antinoise software on it, at least in the highlights. Great since of irony.

Welcome back Kike!
Too long no see!
We missed you!
Oh yes, love & war - always peresent around us,
unfortunately, but most of the time there's that
third one around as well who observes from the
distance, and that one's also cleverly represented
in your beautiful frame.
What a surprise my friend, your appearance made my day!
All the best mate,
Robi

Hola, Cesar!
Wonderful combination here... indeed the title says it all. May the first prevail.
The moment is caught fantastically, the composition is excellent with the cannon. There's also an element of humour there, something really funny about the telescope directed at the kissing couple... they are watched by many eyes, two visible and the rest invisible like us...
take care,
sasa

Hola Kike, long time no see. I love the framing of this one, very clever with the kissing couple underneath the cannon muzzle and the telescope (which strangely looks like a mini-cannon in itself). The grainy b&w treatment looks quite nice for this one.
