Estuvimos en la Iztacihuatl (noten el femenino por que el volcan Izta es mujer)en un dia muy especial por que el viento estaba soplando a velocidades extremas, en los collados o aristas teniamos que caminar por la vertiente en contra del viento para protegernos y evitar que nos empujara, pero como yo he dicho...con mal tiempo la montaña sabe mas, es como el aderezo....se disfruta mas por que le agrega dificultad, esta foto la tome ya regresando y de bajada.

We went to the summit of Iztacihuatl and the wind was very strong, the strongest I´ve seen in years, but that only makes it more interesting.

De acuerdo con Carmia sobre el efecto de los rayos de sol que agregan un componente etereo , mistico . Me recuerda a los paisajes desde el pico del Penyagolosa(el mas alto del Pais Valenciano) , muy proximo al mar y tambien muy permeable a cambios de clima que ayudan a obtener bonitas fotos con muchas variaciones de tonalidades , texturas , colores ,luces ...La definicion y la profundidad de campo son magnificas en esa foto Edmundo . A nice landscape shot which I would not have guessed was Mexico.
Those sun rays are very nice too.
70's I was only a teenager then, but my father used to take us climbing alot then, so prehaps what he taught me stayed and I was the died hard never relinquishing my gear for all the fancy stuff, it worked alright then and it still works now but not in the last few years as I haven't been, shame really, better get off my butt.

Me gustó tu foto y quiero agregar un comentario sobre el mapa; las coordenadas que pusiste me mandan a Tailandia, me tomé la molestia de buscar las del Iztacihuatl las cualess son: latitud 19.185181
longitud -98.648921.
