[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
If you have traveled in Ghana you know the coast is populated with family owned, home built colorful fishing boats. All have piles of nets, flags flapping in the breeze and many sport religious names carved into the sides. 7 Jesus is a typical choice as Ghanaian people feel a religious name has the effect of asking a blessing upon their business. In this case in addition to a blessing, the Cape Coast owner is hoping for the luck associated with the number 7. If you are looking for an adventure and a chance to meet some interesting, hard working folks, arrange for a ride in one of these beauties!

Oh yes! From the east to the west...

All around the tropics boats like this take immense chances. You have a lucky boat here - It is on land :) !!!

Hehehe..

I really like your picture of a boat that has had more than a few journeys. It looks strong still; a vibrant picture no less.

Nice - casper

Hey Doug

What can i say. I simply think that's a shame that such a great photo wasn't really recognized on the website. I think it's very good. The sharpness and the coloures are perfect. The best thing is that carving. Splendid. Cheers!

Great job showing the writing on the boat! Very much as I remember it.
