Spring is all around us. Flowers struggling to bloom, trees budding, robins by the score... The sun sets later and later. And with the coming of spring and new life all around, I have news I am to be a grandmother again. Pretty fitting, I think, however daunting the thought.. :))

Hi Shelly,
Lovely capture of this fleeting scene of spring breaking out in beautiful yellow and lovely muted background. Congrats on the coming grandchild which is the reward for many years of motherhood.
Regards, Tom

Have a beautiful spring

Hello Shelly, good timing for your new lens, with all the new life outside? I like this compo with the main attraction on all 2/3rds.
The twigs give an interesting pattern to it.

Congratulations on being a grandmother again!

Cheers, Herman

Aw yes... the budding of spring flowers. Soon it will be summer with the flowers gone and fresh fruits and berries abounding. Good use of DOF here to isolate these beauties from the tangle of vines and what not in the background. Focus on the central subject is good too while showing the structure of the brances in sufficient detail.

Bonsoir, mon amie Shelly,
Philippe

Hi Shelly. Well arranged and cropped to show new life emerging after the winter cold. Extremely clear with good colours. An effective frame, good idea. TFS. Murray.

Bonsoir Shelly,
Félicitations a la maman et la grand mère, il arrive au bon momnet ou la nature commence a s'ouvrir pour la belle saison, que la vie lui soit douce et jolie comme cette fleur.
Belle macro.

Hi Shelly,

This is a really wonderful shot .. my favorite part is the way the bulbs are present at different stages of opening .. so looking into the distant depths of the image is almost like looking back in time.

congrats on the coming wee person.

take care,

John

Hi Shelly. Nice work, not over crowded, allowing us to focus on a few buds and enjoy their delicate beauty. Lovely colour and light and nice contrast aginnst the darker branches and background. Regards. Klaudio.

Hi, Shelly ~~

What a magnificent shot! And, you chose the perfect perspective to get the conglomerate of twigs for the muted background to this brilliant bud. I do love this!!

Peace to you
Tracy
