Photographer’s Note

This is the scenic view of Namutso Lake of Tibet. Photo was originally in colour version. I converted it into B & W. The idea was tempted by the fact of a deep blue sky and the reflction of the same in water.It ( the sky )was effectively darken by the conversion akin to as if red filter was used in the capture. I hope you like the effect.

Great shot. Nice choice of B&W. Suparb composituion with wonderful reflection. I like the mood and atmosphere in it.

An absolutely beautiful black and white! I find that whatever's floating in the water on the right in the foreground is a little distracting from the reflection, as is the rougher water a bit farther in the distance. Otherwise it's a great photo! Nice work!

Nice shot! I like the black & white conversion, which has a lot of contrast, which adds to the drama of the photo. The sky is almost black, which in this case is very interesting and beautiful, as the clouds and people in the sunlight really stand out. Excellent work!

Yes Ming, result is very good and this photo look stunning in b/w. Cloud and it's reflection are superb.

Yes, I like your effects here, and conversion to bw was a good choice. I really do like the foreground like you have, darkened, and with the clouds so dramatically hovering over the people. Is that really snow on the mountain to the right? I would suspect there would be more, if it were snow.

Une image superbe d'un pays magnifique.
Les nuances sont vraiment très riches, l'image est pleine de petits détails qui attirent le regard.
