[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
These kids live at a brick-works in the Kathmandu valley. Happy to be pictured, although still a little cautious.

Cedarbough, you're right about the 400-speed film. I used to use it quite often for the extra possibilities it gives with a long lens or poorer light, but I think I'll try to avoid it in future.

This is a great shot Greg...Wonderfull colors...perfect face expressions from the kids...perfect background...nice composition...the overall feeling from the photo is very pleasant!

Beautiful photo! I like everything about it: the composition, the warm colors, the facial expressions on the kids. Very nice indeed!

the kids are super super super cute, love those happy and shy smiles. However I am guessing you might have used color print 400 speed film for this... cause the quality seems low, sort of grainy. i suppose it could be the scan. i think a vertical composition, including less on the sides, and all the way to their feet would have been better.

the poverty does not make those children sad, i like your use of the happines of them in spite of thier not easy life.

You gotta love those faces...... the happiness makes up for no feet!!!! Sometimes you just cannot get everything! The photo is wonderful because the joy in it is contagious!

Wonderfully expressive photo. It's clear who the leader of this group is.

Wonderful smiling kids, perfectly catched and framed. I look at it as a bouquet of smiles. The beauty of this scene makes the low quality of the scan (and the 400 ASA grain) very secondary.

Had not seen that one before. It's lovely, I like the way they are standing and the expression on their faces. The one to the right reminds me of one of my sons when he was young. What is that little "thing" under the noze of the first one, how about doing a kleenex job with PS.

it is a great picture, i like it a lot, all those curious, smailing kids, it is really great, a picture with a big heart

Great shot, I like the expression and the mood and how the children are set. Only try to remember not to cut them legs next time :)

what more to say, goes to my favourite! =)

Très belle photo. Les teintes me font penser au reversible Ferania après quelques années... Cela donne une atmosphère particulièreà ce cliché. Merci
Gérard

Hi
A very cheerful picture - I like their spontanous and natural smiles. The boy at the front must be an older brother - everyone is hidding behind him. You must have done something funny to provoke this reaction.
I agree with Sengir - you shouldn't cut legs..
Regards
Henryk
