Photographer’s Note

This one I took a couple of weeks ago, when we had snow over here in Holland. It only lasted a couple of hours, but I did get the the opportunity to take some pictures. Like this spindle tree that's standing in my garden covered in snow.
As you can see, not much tree, but a lot of snow :-)

Here's some info from the internet about the spindle tree:

Common Name: Spindle tree
Genus: Euonymus
Species: fortunei
Cultivar: 'Emerald 'n' Gold'
Height: 100cm
Spread: 150cm
Time to prune: April to July

Euonymus is one of the most versatile evergreen shrubs. There are many varieties both green and variegated, all worth growing. 'Emerald 'n'Gold' is one of the most common forms with bright-golden, variegated leaves. These turn an attractive pinkish-red in cold weather, making the plant ideal for winter colour. It makes an excellent specimen shrub, a low, informal hedge or a climber on walls.
