Our balconey in Agia Marina-Crete-was surrounded by these lovely pink roses. Upon this rose a large cricket rested from the days heat.

Hi David I have been looking at your collection and this one brought a smile to my face. First the sharpness of the shot and and the almost velvety look of the rose. Well caught. But best of all is the cricket, its arm out stretched against the petal, and is that a smile on his face enjoying the rest. TFS

I like this one. Both the rose and the cricket seem to have a nice plush texture. And I like the detail of the petals that har turning brown.
