Photographer’s Note
I love San Francisco at night. There are so many amazing shots available. This one is hardly amazing but it was fun. I was down on Market Street just learning how to use my new camera and some of the features. No filters, no special effects, just an 8 second exposure on a rainy night. I thought the star flares on the lights was cool.
Please offer any advice for exposure, settings, and workshop tips.
I am also putting together a trek and scavenger hunt in SF for June 22-24 with a bunch of college kids from our church in Fresno. Others are welcome to join.
Thanks!

Nice shot Kevin!
My friend talks about SF all the time and he would love this photo you took!
You must have had an umbrella or incredibly durable camera to resist raindrops on your lens.
I think in this case, the exposure worked just right to show the essence of the night.
I don;t think any special effects were needed :)

Talia
