Photographer’s Note

Its been a while since I last put an image from the historical harbour of Yaffo.This one gives you a captains view of the way out to sea.
Caught just before sunset on a rather hazy day so the sky was a bit washed out.....A great weekend to all!

Hello David -

Some very nice evening light here - it makes the colors really vibrant. It really is too bad that there is not much separation between the boats and the breakwater. The masts and stacks seem to be lost in the background. Otherwise, well done.

Excellent POV, with sharp chrisp colors colorful fishing boats that seem to be straining to get back out to sea.

Hi David,

The "washed out" sky of yours has such nice town ... just fits perfectly with the light on the walls .. almost every item in the composition seems timeless in its own way .. and I love the way the light drives through this like a line in itself.

Hi David,
Actually the pale, pastel sky provides great contrast the bright, reflection and glowing sunset light on the boats. The framing is good too with the diagonal of the sea wall providing an echo for the line of boat bows. Well donbe!! HLJ, Pat
