Photos

To tourists and natives alike, Shinjuku is one of the places to be if you're looking for something to do once the sun goes down. Shinjuku itself isn't neccessarily the place to be; it's the disembarking point to more interesting locales, such as the infamous Kabukicho.

This is a famous intersection, which I'm sure has a proper name, but everyone simply knows as 'Studio Alta' (which is related to the giant television on the left, showing the image of a palm tree.) For those of you who are camera buffs, the famous Yodabashi Camera is just to the right of where this image was taken.

I chose this image because it's another one of those 'things I'll always remember about Japan' photos. The ever-present crowds, the ever-present neon... I miss it every day that I've been away.
