Wonderful composition with the statue well-balanced by the columns at the back. I don't like the thick border that much - it makes the photograph very heavy. But that is just my preference.

I love the composition. The orange/brown color of the pillars looks nice against the blue clouds. The soft lighting looks good, and helps bring out the color of the statue. Well done.

Hello David,
Effiscient compo from Pompei roman ruins. You introduce movement in your pic and that was not so easy. Well done.

Hi David,
I like the crop of this picture: great composition and perfect colors. It's a good thing that you took advantage of the cloudy sky... Infact with the sun there are often disturbing shadows all around this temple.
Pompei is in Napoli "state", not Campobasso.
Best regards

Hi David,
Excellent composition. The statue is very well placed. I like the earth tones of the statue and pillars. The framing of the statue in between the two pillars is also good. Well done.

Hello David,
it is a nice pic. There is a cloudy day and it is better than a sunny day.
Today we travelled at Pompeii.
About Apollo now.
Apollo was the son of the supreme Greek god Zeus and Leto, a nymph. Zeus's wife Hera was outraged and convinced the earth to refuse to allow Leto to give birth anywhere on its surface. But the island of Delos allowed Leto to take refuge there and give birth to Apollo and his twin sister, Artemis, goddess of the hunt and wild things. The goddess Themis assisted in raising him by feeding him ambrosia, the sacred nectar of the gods.
Have a nice day.
Athanasios.

Hi David.
Not only a good exposure -I see the weather, the clouds, and I think that not was so easy- also a clever composition wich makes even more interesting this photo.
Regards.
