Photographer’s Note
This picture was taken from the new bridge that crosses the Mondego river, in Coimbra, called the "Pedro e Inęs" bridge. This modern bridge is for the exclusive use of bikes and walking people (pedestrian bridge) and allows for a magnificent view of the city. The tower on the top of the hill is the University tower, belonging to one of Europe's oldest universities. Near the river, the Mondego green park is an ideal place for families.
