Photographer’s Note

This pilgrim was taking a break in the Mandai at Pune on his way to Alandi. When I focussed on him he got up took out that saffron cloth from his bag, and the bells then put both round his neck and sat down for a picture.

Great portrait shot, Pari! I love the detail here - from his dusty feet to the bell around his neck. Your sharp picture renders everything clearly visible. I also like the well-weathered colourful shutters behind him. You've captured this traveler's fatigue very well in his expression. Regards,

Very good nice portrait, I love the blue doors on the background.
I just think there is a lot of space to the sides of the man.
