A very warm welcome to TE Shantelle. Nice first shot although it could have been bigger and then it would be perfect. Some notes about where it is and how the photo is taken is always good too. I love the reflections.

welcome to TE Shantelle .. This shot brings back happy memories of when I visited two years ago .. photographers paradise :o) .. you caught some great reflections here .. the eyes are pulled into the image by the canal right down to the small bridge in the rear .. I would leave out the net address bottom right as it does distract from you superb capture ... or at least make it somewhat smaller .. look forward to more of your posts

Welcome aboard TE Shantelle. Nice one from 'La Serenissima'. Ain't Venice (Italy) the most photogenic city in the world. I have a bunch a pics from there. But since I'm in LA now, I plan to juxtapose them with pics from Venice, CA.

This image is really nice as an intoduction to Venice insofar as it has all the key elements. Gondolas, bridge, canals. The reflections on the water are very nice and the pic is well balanced.

and welcome on TE!
Well, it's not one of the most beautiful and known spots of Venice, but this picture reminds me the times I worked there... Do you see the central building, left to hotel Cavalletto? Can you read the sign "Banca Nazionale del Lavoro"? Well, that building is my bank's Venetian branch, and I spent there about two weeks...
