I think something went wrong here after the shot being taken and before getting uploaded to TE. so my first comment is be more scrutinizing with your scanner. Another small note is that 640x480 is a good size for TE and I think this photo would benefit from being smaller. As for the shot, I think its incredible. The irony of the scene is thick and the face of the woman on the left really draws your attention away. It tells a good story, its good compositionally and light-wise, so that makes a great journalistic shot. Just needs better PP.
