Photographer's Note

Today no castles, no churches, no landscapes ...

I've hesitated a long time to post this one, but the motto of TrekEarth is "learning about the world..." and eating is an important part of our life.
My very amiable neighbours invite us several times a year for lunch. As a matter of course my favourite dish is the theme of these invitations: Kohlrouladen! I think the English word is "stuffed cabbage" or something like that. I think it's a "very German" dish and it's preparation is rather time-consuming - therefore I am very grateful for the invitations ...;-).
Blanched white cabbage leaves are filled with well spiced minced meat and then roasted. They are served with a brown sauce and boiled potatoes. There are several variations - but those of my neighbours are the best! Isn't it a mouthwatering sight ...?
I am a bit anxious about your responses.

This time I didn't activate the "map" function to describe the location ... ;-)
