That's the exterior of Palace of the Golden Horses..I went to a few angles and still find that the lake is better compare to other angle. Maybe because of the reflection of the lake that's makes a lot of different.
This is actually an evening around 7:40p.m. I waited until the water become still just to get a good reflection.

Very nice. I think the idea of waiting for the water to calm was good. The color is warm and inviting. How did you achieve the star on the two lights?.. If that photoshopped in?

overall quality is awesome! good framing is what i give you two points for... clarity is good as well... the rest of the photo looks like a credit to your photoshop abilities :) well done sir! :) thanks for sharing

Well execeuted evening shot with good sharpness of hotel & reflection on the calm water. What's that on the lower left - part of the reflection? Did you use cross filter to get the star effect? I was once there for a free makan on the lawn facing the lake - great atmosphere & quite similar to what you show here. Regards. Latiff.

nice shot but i think in the twilight maybe 45 minutes later?? would have made this good shot an absolutly stunning shot, thanks scott

A very impressive photograph of the PGH, Kok Leong, but I am undecided whether I like the star burst. You selected an excellent POV for this - I must go try a shot myself sometime (maybe try Scott's suggestion of a longer exposure a little later in the evening). Cheers . . . David

Hi KL Yee, I prefer this view as compared to the II photo. I like the way the hotel slanting from front to back. I am passing by this hotel everyday after work for the past few years. To-date, I have yet to stop by and take some shots.
You shots certainly will motivate me to do it one day.
