Photographer's Note

I became interested in photography a few years ago, focusing more on the artistic side rather than just snapping friends/family or vacation pictures. This is one of the first scenes I captured using black and white film. I see it could probably use some dodging/burning if anyone is interested in workshoping this I would be open to seeing what you can do with it.

Hi Daniel,
I like this shot, it shows haw is busy and dynamic NY, I think the B&W is a good choice. I’ve tried a workshop just because of your note, but I like very much your version (it’s only too small!).

I think you've done a great work in capturing the hustle and bustle of this frantic place. There is no place in the photo in which the eye/vision can "rest" - which in this case is a good thing.

Excellent framing. The way you’ve captured the car is very, very good. In such a busy image it becomes a focusing point which is very important. Also the way you’ve framed it adds dynamic to the scene because we get the feeling of it passing by. The tones are excellent, and the image only suffers from a very small size.
