What a great mood this image creates. So mysterious and magical with the boat coming out of nowhere. The reflection of the boat is the only proof you have that they are actually on water. And great placement of it to the side.

This is indeed a magical picture Dumitru. It also looks like soldiers from the 18th centuary coming to shore! I was wondering if you could post the colour version as a workshop. While I like this black and white copy, maybe a small splash of colour would add a little more punch to the photo.

Hi Dumitru,

I´ve compared the colour and BW versions, and I have to say this one´s better...the atmosphere is great, the quiet, calm place...and you´ve managed the noise too, which is not an easy thing in such a gray shot...all in all well done!
