Photographer’s Note
A view of the ruins of the forum in Pompei, the rich roman town destroyed by the eruction of Vesuvio (now sleeping and visible as background of this magic place) in 79 a.C., during the imperial age.
The forum was the most important public space, with temples, markets and public buildings where people used to meet and make business.
Other important things to visit once in Pompei (you should stay 4-5 hours at least) are the great teather, the thermal building and the “villa dei Misteri”, a luxurious house out of the center of the town, where you can find one of the most beautiful and interesting frescoes of Pompei.

Hi Federico.
Very good work, it gives a very nice effect from this perspective and very good depth.
Lightness and colors are excellent. The blue sky is a very good contrast to the rest of the photo.
Have a nice time.
