Photographer’s Note

I was recomended a visit to Tungenes fyr by a colegue, and after visiting the place I have to say I don't regret it. The light house is very photogenic and a lovely place to visit on a summer day. I only regret not having a pola filter...

It is not sharp and has some problems with contrast, but it reflects wonderfully the weather.

It is a very wintry, cold in thru the bone photo. off cause it could be sharper but maybe tha would have taken away a bit off this rugged sens of being there.

This is typical January 2007, bad weather is hovering over the landscape but not without brighter spots in the clouds!
Well composed presentation, an interesting place telling stories from times gone by...
Sharpness is not perfect though!

Excellent weather shot Halgeir, a true cold and windy atmosphere, interesting place too, but the image have some small problem, anyway, after many time, a post from you is a good news, so compliments for all.

Hi Halgeir,
I think that not having a polarizing filter has really been such a problem here. The light you've captured gives this scene a strong 'mood', although an increase in contrast might have helped it further. The composition is good but I agree with the other critiques in that there seems to be a bit of an issue with sharpness. Other than that, it's good work.
It's good to hear that your camera is back again! I look forward to seeing plenty more great pics from your part of the world! :)

The lighthouse looks magnificent, but I can't say quality is the best...
Seems to be lacking a lot of focus, also a slightly dark scene so I'm afraid I can't give full points.

A dark mood in this one Hallgeir where for sure a little more light had worked as well. The low pov is good for this compo placing the building in a good way backed by the dark clouds.

Interesting light and sky, but a bit to dark for me. A little lack of sharpness in my opinion.
