Photographer’s Note

The picture
Some years ago a small group of businessmen built a special market place at Baltonfüred and it is a simple shop's window there.
I like its colors very much!

The place
Balatonfüred is a popular resort town in Veszprém county, in Hungary with a population of thirteen thousand, situated on the north shore of Lake Balaton. It is considered to be the capital of the Northern lakeshore and it has significant yachting life. It is also a favourite location for coarse fishing, carp being the commonest catch. The Lake has been erroneously spoiled with eels and other non indegineous species which are by now on the decline. The temperature of the water is above 20 degrees Centegrade from May to September. The quality of the water is excellent.

Hi Miklos. Those sure are some whopping colors! I'm glad you didn't do this as a b/w! :) You know the sharpness and textures on the wall are also excellent. It was wise to focus your composition around just a few colorful elements. Very nicely done Miklos!

I think that more people wait on the summer, I like the summer and high temperatures, excellent for biking and walking.
This simple picture gives a very nice composition and splendid colours.

Hi Miklos, I love your b/w shots, however, this one simply demonstrates your eye for colour and composition. The colours are deep and rich. The contrast is striking and the composition with the pots to the right is well balanced.

I was impressed by this a bit surrealistic (thanks for the big artificial flowers) picture. Gorgeous colours and superb composed shot. For the composition - I would crop this half-chair in the left part, but this is only a proposal... Excellent sharpness, frame and exposition.

Az első reakciómmal nyitok: "Atyaég!" :-). Meglepő néha, hogy Magyarországon ilyen apró érdekességekre is rá lehet lelni. Sokfelé volt szerencsém járni országhatárokon belül, de erre a képre nem mondtam volna rögtön, hogy magyaros.

Maga a kép nagyon szép kompozíció, telt színek, kellemes hangulat. Nagyon tetszik! :-)
