Photographer’s Note

I post already one picture of the man in background. Here he is with his wife. Together they own a small boat and take tourist on the LiJiang River in Yangshuo. After boat trip I ask to take picture of them both. Very nice people. They work like this for many years. In background you can see big boats that take tourists from Guilin to Yangshuo. The man say he worry about his business from the bigger boats but this job he say is the only job he know how to do. Hard life but both seem happy.

Very nice portrait and landscape view. High definition picture although, may be, a bit magenta or reddish tone

Yes, as Rui says, a good portrait. It does look a bit redish, but I seems as though that could be the time of day. It looks as though this was shot with low sun slightly obscured by clouds.

Very nice shot of these people with the boats and nature on the background. Looking at the sky it looks at little bit red.I tried a WS on this.

Le lieu est superbe et pour ma part cette image nette sur l'arriere plan nous permet de meiux en apprecier la scene.
Le cadrage est superbe avec ces personne positionnées sur une place maitresse de l'image.

Excellent pose and composition, I think the sharpness front to back works very well and doesn't distract the focus on the subject at all. Perhaps the frontal lighting was less than desirable, in reference to the squintingm but you may not have had much choice about that. Overall, the colours are very film-like and very soft, the magenta tone looks fine on the rock formation and sky in the background but doesn't do much justice to the skin tones. On the whole I'm not bothered by that. Well done!

Nice dual portrait and I like the boats in the back. It clearly shows just how much ourist traffic there is in this area, and suggests how important it is to the economy. A real TE daily life shot.

hi Rosie, nice image, i like their gentle expressions, nice background too. nice compo with them on the side. small flaw - somehow details are lost, everything look flat a bit. anyway, nice picture

Very good portrait with an excelent composition. The image itself tells the story! I believe the reds are a bit too strong. Reducing the saturation could create a more natural tone of the skin.
